Reading this, it occurs to me that for two people to both have the same deep longing to feel completed and seen by another person, ironically they must both have a deep sense of feeling incomplete. And that time spent together inevitably would be hotly contended for, since the ways both feel incomplete are unlikely to line up. They might look the same on the surface, like conversations and music, but the message beneath those will have nuance and never fulfill the fantasy
